The category of Principal Patron acknowledges the substantial support we receive from the major broadcasters.
The category of International Patron recognises the generous commitment of a range of international companies. International Patrons are offered exclusive receptions, priority booking at Patron Breakfasts and RTS Membership for five individual members of staff.
Major Patrons are companies that donate more than £6,000 annually. Major Patrons receive priority invitations to every Patron Breakfast and also have priority booking for tables at RTS Dinners and for all other Society events.
Major Patrons are also guaranteed two places at the Cambridge Convention, Britain’s most exclusive forum for the discussion of broadcasting and communications issues. Attendance at Cambridge is limited to 300 – and has always been sold out.
The RTS organises “off-the-record” breakfasts, exclusive to Patrons, for a maximum of 50 people. These enable Patrons to come together to meet and hear leading figures in broadcasting, telecoms and government speaking on an off-the-record basis.
Patrons also receive invitations to exclusive receptions linked to special events across the year. Places at Early Evening Events in London are reserved for priority bookings by staff in patron organisations.
