STUDENT TELEVISION AWARDS:
The ROI Centre organises the RTS Student TV Awards each year in four categories. The winners of each category go forward for selection in the finals in the UK. Please note that the closing date for application is early August. See www.rts.org.uk for further information.
Mark Thompson
On 14th March the BBC's Director General, Mark Thompson, gave a speech in London entitled "The BBC - 2012 and Beyond". This event was streamed live and watched by RTS ROI members in AR4, RTE.
