 The ROI - RTS centre entry "Small Change" by  Cathy Brady, Tom Fitzpatrick & Team, National Film School, Dun Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology was shortlisted for the Undergraduate Fiction category in the RTS Student Awards 2010 in Bradford on May 20th 2011.

2008 STUDENT TV AWARDS:

Tom Quinn , RTÉ Group Secretary, presented the Awards and Certificates to the sucessful Students and Institute 7representatives.

 

2006:AL Lennon Awarded RTS Pilgrim Award..

Our congratulations to colleague Al Lennon on being presented with the Royal Television Society "Pilgrim Award" . The presentation was made by the Hon. Secretary of the RTS David Lowen at a function in the Royal Irish Academy in Dawson Street on Thursday 23rd November 2006.

 

RTS Student Awards

The winner in the Undergraduate Factual catagory was from the Republic of Ireland RTS Centre and the DIT School of Media..titled "Break Away" - Directed by Colm Quinn & Liam O'Cathasaigh, 

 

Republic of Ireland Centre - Dublin Institute of Technology win RTS Student Award

We are delighted to announce that the Dublin Institute of Technology, School of Media, Aungier Street, won the RTS Award in the undergraduate factual section of the RTS National Student Television Awards, with "High Flyers", a documentary which charts the progress of two participants in the 2003 Special Olympics.
